and both the opposite side of the postcards share the same design, where people are introduce to intrigue visuals, just a short description of it with the website below. as compared to the previous design for the back part, the logo from the website has been changed, and the text remains the same as the short paragraph to signify unity so that the whole appearance does not appears as messy and complicated.

one of our ambient media was to distribute spectacles to the crowd, the above image is the main idea of how the end product will look like. we even thought of using contact lens as one of items to be given out so that the audience will find that it is interesting thus venturing to the company’s website which is our main purpose. image from -(http://www.spectacle-warehouse.co.uk/lens.jpg)

from the front view of the glasses, the text on it will be mirrored image of what it is from the perspective of the wearer’s view. As we wanted to show that it is only through your own experience when you wear the glasses then you’ll understand how we intrigue visuals work to bring you what they perceive and how they search for beauty to their audience.

there’s also other aspects within the website itself, like the challenge where the audience gets to vote for their favourite picture, it is sort of a competition where photography skills are put to test. however the ambient media acts as a pre trigger to the website as well as introducing themselves to the public.

given the feedbacks and comments, having yin and yang as the company’s way of portraying to their audience is totally out, sooo we came up with our 2nd idea which approached the audience in a manner where intrigue visuals make known to them of their achievements and are proud to present it to everyone. a form of showing their portfolio and at the same time creating awareness to the public that they could be one of them honour to have intrigue visuals capturing precious moments of their life or services that the company provides. like how one search for beauty and intrigue visuals knows best or better, giving them a better visuals with intrigue visuals around.

these are some of the visuals where it is considered to be printed in posters, postcards or rather the material we’re going to release to the public with the main idea of having “ IV DONE THIS FOR SOMEONE “, intrigue visuals in short as iv but at the same time it also reads i’ve which contradicts in a manner but the meaning behind it is to give intrigue visuals an opportunity to search beauty for you (someone in the qoute) and as the ‘someone’ you have done it for intrigue visuals adding a portfolio to them.

SO WE PROPOSED THAT INTRGUE VISUALS TO BE PORTRAYED AS THE YIN AND YANG, the two forces that works together be it the different styles and individuality that it carries, they each experimentally gives their audience a new touch and experience never felt before. as yin and yang itself is a known icon to almost every chinese, to tap on and showcase that the company are something strong and believes strongly in their culture enhances the confidence and trust when they approached their customers. however we do not want to make it very chinese yin and yang, the basic aspects of it is still there yet it’s redesigned to bring out the modern, zen black and white but there’s more to meet the eye, that type of feel. one of the example below. the whole theme and colour scheme of intrigue visuals revolves around black and white so we go according to it and work with what the contrast is able to emphasize and attention capturing.

the verdict of the very first propose idea is being rejected, as the client feels that it is still very chinese yin and yang despite the removal of the circles within the black and white spaces, they feel that it only showcase that particular image and they’ve other works which are compatibly good. =(

now that everything has been cancelled, what we’ve done goes down the drain. however they proposed to advertise for their production house, intrigue visuals. everything starts from the begining again!!
